Step 4: Go live, monitor, and optimize

If you've published the menu on your current theme, all customers are already seeing and using it. If you're working on a duplicate theme, choose the right time to push it live. Test carefully on multiple devices (desktop, mobile, tablet) and across popular browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge) to make sure everything works smoothly. If anything doesn't look right, contact me immediately for support and adjustments.

Use the Data Analysis feature to track impressions and clicks on each menu. You’ll see performance stats by menu and platform, helping you decide which menus to improve. Sometimes, A/B testing is needed to find out which version performs best. Over time, this ensures your menu is always optimized for your users.

Can I perform A/B testing?

Yes! You can absolutely A/B test with Navi+ menus. We don’t provide an automated A/B testing tool, but you can follow these steps to conduct your own test.

Scenario: You have a menu item linking to a page with all discounted products. You’re considering names like "Hot Deal" or "50% Off" and want to test which name drives more user engagement.

Steps for A/B Testing:

  1. Create a menu with the item named "Hot Deal," optionally adding images or details to support the campaign. Export the menu as an .npx file.

  2. Go live and run the menu with real customers for 1 week.

  3. Use Navi+’s Data Analysis tool to track clicks on the menu item.

  4. After 1 week, change the menu item to "50% Off" and repeat the process.

  5. Compare results to see which name got more clicks. If "Hot Deal" performs better, import the saved .npx file to revert. If "50% Off" wins, keep the optimized version.

Can I further optimize Navi+ performance?

Yes! You can boost Navi+’s execution speed. Although Navi+ runs on top-tier CDNs like Shopify, BunnyCDN, and AWS for near-unlimited scalability and speed, using multiple apps simultaneously can impact performance due to Shopify’s resource loading order:

  1. Shopify prioritizes its own resources (e.g., header, menu, main menu drawer, cart drawer) for loading first.

  2. Other apps load in no specific order, and slow apps can delay Navi+.

How to optimize Navi+ speed:

Embed the published Navi+ code directly into your theme files (preferably in the header) to prioritize its loading. This is low-risk but requires some technical knowledge. Contact Navi+ support via chat for detailed guidance.
